Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need an account or a connection?
The current iOS app needs no account. Recording, editing and local exports work offline. Cloud file providers, undownloaded cloud photos and online help may need a connection.
How do I move to another phone?
Create and separately save a full backup on the original device, retaining its library. Open the backup in a compatible version and read the restore confirmation. Check text and images after restoring. Do not uninstall the original app first.
Can PDFs, Word files or long images restore editable records?
No. They are reading and sharing outputs. A full ZIP backs up the library; a single-record project is for editable transfer of that record. Follow the formats supported by the import screen.
Are backups password protected?
Current iOS full ZIP backups are unencrypted. Encryption in the internal browser prototype is not an iOS feature. Protect both the files and their storage locations.
Why can Word or pagination differ from the preview?
Fonts, readers and paper settings can affect layout. Check Chinese text, images, reading order and page breaks in the actual output. Try PDF if appropriate and keep the editable original.
Can I decline location or camera access?
Yes. Enter a place and text manually or select existing photos with the system picker. Background location access is not required for recording.
Can support recover lost records?
There is currently no developer cloud library or remote recovery service. Check Trash and your retained full backups first. Avoid repeatedly uninstalling or overwriting source files.
When can I download it?
The iOS app is undergoing acceptance checks and is not yet publicly available. Release information will appear here and on the actual App Store page. No download or purchase is offered now.
